The University of Hong Kong successfully developed micro wind turbines
This miniature wind turbine, jointly developed by the University of Hong Kong professor and the French inventor, uses a specially designed plastic wheel with a diameter of only 26 cm as a means of obtaining wind energy.

According to the inventor, the wind power system can generate electricity when the wind speed is only two meters per second. The traditional small wind turbines must increase the wind speed to 7 meters per second to generate electricity efficiently. The average wind speed in most cities around the world is 5 meters per second.
