As a star product of the chemical sector, glyphosate has always been one of the varieties of market speculation. According to Hu Qifeng, an analyst at Glyphosate, the North American overseas glyphosate purchase season has passed recently. While the procurement period for the other major market, the South American market, has not yet begun, the demand season in the South American market is generally in August and September, and the procurement season has to wait until June at the earliest. At present, the glyphosate market is in a transitional period, and the recent price will be dominated by a weak downward trend.

Although the current price of glyphosate has declined slightly, its profit rate is still high. As a result, many domestic companies plan to increase production capacity, and the industry therefore hopes that the environmental verification results announced in May can effectively control production capacity. Hu Qifeng said that although the recent price of glyphosate was mainly weak, it was supported by environmental protection policies and there was limited space for decline.
