Equipment manufacturing industry as a pillar industry "sportsman" to catch

After field visits and investigations, the committee members found that the equipment manufacturing industry in our district had a good foundation and accelerated development. In 2012, the region's equipment manufacturing industry achieved an output value of 10.673 billion yuan, accounting for 17.3% of the region; tax revenue of 282.54 million yuan, accounting for 24.3% of the region's industrial tax revenue; nearly 20,000 employees; 56 households with above-scale equipment manufacturing enterprises In 2012, the output value reached 9.427 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 30.1%.

However, the existing equipment manufacturing industry clusters in our district are still in the initial stage, the industrial structure is scattered, the enterprises are scattered, and the supporting enterprises are small; the whole machine enterprises are few, the leading enterprises are not strong; the enterprise correlation is not large, and the complete industrial chain has not yet been formed. The ability is weak, resulting in high production costs and low efficiency. More than 60% of the raw materials for mechanical equipment enterprises in our district and the spare parts for the whole machine enterprises are supplied from outside the district.

In this regard, the District Political Consultative Conference proposed to put the equipment manufacturing industry in the "sportsmanship" of the development of the pillar industry in Yongchuan, to innovate the system, improve the mechanism, optimize the environment, and accelerate the establishment of an important equipment manufacturing industrial base in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone.
