23-25 ​​days weather conditions are not suitable for early rice planting

The Central Meteorological Observatory is expected to have a cloudy and rainy weather in the southern part of the south of the Yangtze River and the northern part of southern China on the 23rd to 25th. The temperature will be lower than normal in the same period of the year. From 23 to 24, there will be two days of low-temperature and rainy weather with an average daily temperature below 12 °C. The meteorological conditions in the north, northern Fujian, southern Hunan, southwestern Jiangxi, and southern Zhejiang are not suitable for early rice planting (see figure).

Agricultural advice:

1. In the south of the south of the Yangtze River and the northern part of southern China, attention should be paid to avoiding low-temperature and rainy weather. When the temperature rises, the early rice should be sown in time, and the low-temperature effects should be taken as far as possible by adopting dry nursery and throwing cockroaches; the middle and northern parts of the south of the Yangtze River should be prepared for soaking and germination in early rice. Work to ensure that early rice is successfully planted.

2. In the sowing areas of South China, it is necessary to strengthen the management of water and fertilizer in the early rice fields, adopting measures such as adding hot fertilizer and filming to improve the cold resistance of the seedlings, preventing the bad weather from being caused by low temperature and rainy weather, and striving to cultivate strong growth. All localities should also pay close attention to plowing the fields and doing all the preparations for transplanting early rice.
