At the same time, the worrying issues in geological prospecting work are mainly in three aspects. First, the national “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” and comprehensive construction of a well-to-do society require more and more pressure to provide resources for geological prospecting work. Important resources are The degree of dependence on foreign countries continues to increase. At present, the external dependence of important resources such as petroleum, iron ore and copper has greatly exceeded 50%. First of all, while strengthening domestic geological prospecting and raising the level of domestic resources, we encourage geological exploration companies to “go global” to seek minerals abroad, make full use of foreign resources, and share global human resources. We hope that more resources will be kept at our feet in order to create favorable resource conditions for the long-term sustainable development of future generations.

Secondly, based on domestic prospecting, we must not only focus on opening up the geological prospecting work in the western region, strive for new discoveries and establish a new strategic base for mineral raw materials, nor can we relax the geological prospecting work in the eastern and central regions. In recent years, we have discovered a number of important large-scale mineral deposits in the eastern and central regions. This proves that there is indeed potential for excavation in these areas.

Secondly, in the exploration of major minerals in a mining area or an area, comprehensive surveys and comprehensive evaluations of associated and symbiotic minerals are carried out to make the ore more versatile in order to create conditions for comprehensive development and comprehensive utilization.
