The PEMSERT® rivet nut is designed for joint work. The product is designed to withstand high loading threads so that the product does not protrude on both sides when joining two sheets of metal. The product was tested and permanently mounted on a .060 inch aluminum or steel sheet with the lower sides of the sheet flat. The installation process is very simple. Simply prepare a suitable mounting hole on the sheet, place the fastener (such as the screw rod) into the hole, and insert the unique hexagon head into the sheet with sufficient pressing force. . When embedded, the metal dust formed by the hex head will flow evenly to the inverted tapered face of the fastener, and then the product will be securely locked into position. The hex head and self-biting design ensure high axial force and high torque. PEMSERT® rivet nuts are an extension of the 300 series stainless steel nuts and are available in sizes from #2-56 to 1â„4-20 / M2 to M6 and also to NASM45938/4 aerospace standards.
