Global pipe market in the next five years, demand "big" in China

According to the latest research and analysis conducted by Freedonia Consulting of the United States, the largest demand in the global pipe market from 2010 to 2015 will come from the Asia-Pacific region, which accounts for two-thirds of the total demand.

“The markets of several major Asian countries will grow rapidly, and China alone will account for 40% of the global demand for plastic pipe.” The relevant person in charge of the above-mentioned organization pointed out that the global pipe market will grow by 5.8% annually, equivalent to 31.5 billion meters.

Among them, demand for plastic pipe in the Asia Pacific region will increase by 6.1%, North America will increase by 6.1%, Africa by 6%, Eastern Europe by 5.1%, South America and Central America by 4.9%, and Western Europe by 2.9%.

In general, the global market growth rate decreased from 2005 to 2010, although Europe and North America resumed growth after shrinking by 1.9% and 7.8% respectively.

In terms of materials, the consumption of these small-volume tubings for ABS, GRP and PP materials will increase at an above-average rate as end-users become more familiar with the technical characteristics and performance of these materials.
