Classification of Aluminosilicate Refractories

[China Aluminum Network] Aluminum-silicon refractories are refractories based on Al2O3 and SiO2. Different classifications can be made depending on the mineral composition, chemical composition and production process of the raw materials used. For the products made mainly from natural materials, according to the amount of Al2O3 and SiO2 in the products, they can be divided into three categories:

Semi-silicon products: Al2O3 content of 15~30%;

Clay products: Al2O3 content of 30 ~ 46% (according to the composition of raw materials in China, generally 30 to 48%);

High aluminum products: Al2O3 content greater than 46% (according to the composition of raw materials in China, generally> 48%).

Semi-silicone products are made of raw materials such as semi-silicone, raw kaolin or wax stone, so the Al2O3 content is low, not more than 30%. The clay product is made of fire-resistant clay as the main raw material, and a part of the clay is matured and burned into pellets, which are formed by combining with part of the raw clay. High-alumina products can be made of various types of high-alumina raw materials with an Al2O3 content of more than 46%. High-alumina products produced from natural high-alumina bauxite can be conventionally classified into I (Al2O3 ≥ 75%), II (Al2O360% ~ 75%), III (Al2O348% ~ 60%), depending on the Al2O3 content. The chemical composition of various products is shown in Table (3-1).

If the product is characterized by the properties of the main raw material, the product can also be named after the raw material. For example, products made of wax stone as the main raw material are called “waxed stone bricks”, and products made of sillimanite or andalusite as the main raw materials are called sillimanite bricks and andalusite bricks. If the product is made of artificial raw materials (such as sintered corundum, fused corundum, synthetic mullite) as the main raw material, the main crystal phase in the product is classified. Such as mullite bricks, corundum mullite bricks.

Check Valve

The check valve is used in the piping system, its main function is to prevent the backflow of the medium, prevent the pump and its driving motor from reversing, as well as the release of the medium in the container.

Check valves can also be used to feed pipes where the pressure may rise to exceed the pressure of the main system. Check valve according to the different material, can be applied to a variety of media pipeline.

The check valve is installed on the pipeline, which becomes one of the fluid components of the complete pipeline. The opening and closing process of the valve disc is affected by the transient flow state of the system in which it is located. In turn, the closing characteristics of the disc have an effect on the fluid flow state.
