Citrus summer management technical points

Summer is the key period for citrus management. Citrus is in the period of fruit expansion, requiring a large amount of fertilizer, and is in the rainy season, high temperature and high humidity, which is the peak of citrus pests and diseases, to ensure the quality, yield and strengthen of citrus. The management of summer citrus orchards is very important. The specific measures are:

First, timely wipe out the summer shoots, apply good topdressing, and promote stable fruit and strong fruit: the citrus fruit tree will be used to extract summer shoots from May to June, leading to contradictions of fruit and fruit, which will aggravate physiological fruit drop. When the summer shoots are drawn to 3 cm to 5 cm, they should be wiped off from the base, wiped every 5-7 days, and water and fertilizer should be applied once every 2-3 times to supplement the consumption of summer shoots. The nutrients needed for nutrient and fruit growth are generally 10-20kg per plant, plus 0.1-0.3kg compound fertilizer. For plants with excessive fruiting, artificial fruit thinning, retaining strong fruit, removing small fruit, deformed fruit, diseased fruit.

Second, the spray surface fertilizer to protect fruit and fruit: in the rainy and hot season is conducive to the growth of nutrients, but not conducive to the growth of young fruit, must be sprayed in time to maintain fruit and fruit. It can be used with high-quality, high-quality foliar fertilizer and various trace elements such as boron, magnesium, zinc and molybdenum. Third, timely control of pests and diseases. Fourth, do a good job in the irrigation and drainage of orchards.
