How to choose a ceiling lamp

Fixed ceiling lamps are often used in homes, offices, entertainment venues and other places. When purchasing, they should first consider the safety and quality of the lamps, and consider the size, height, and function of the room.
1. In large stores, purchase products with the “Three Guarantees” commitment and purchase lamps with the CCC certification mark.
2. Look for three when shopping. A look at the product logo is complete, the regular product logo is often more standardized, should identify: trademark and factory name, product model specifications, rated voltage, rated frequency, rated power. Second, see if the lamp power cord has a CCC safety certification mark, and the external conductor cross-sectional area should be ≥ 0.75mm2. Third, look at whether the lamp charged body is exposed. After the light source is installed in the lamp holder, the finger should not touch the live metal lamp holder.
3. Choose a higher type of protection against electric shock: According to the type of protection against electric shock, ceiling lamps can be classified into 0, I, II and III categories. The safety of Type 0 lamps is poor. Type I, Type II and Type III lamps should be purchased as far as possible.
Type 0 lamps rely on basic insulation as protection against electric shock. In case of basic insulation failure, it is easy to generate electric shock hazard.
The protection against electric shock of Type I lamps not only depends on the basic insulation, but also includes additional safety measures. That is, the easy-to-reach conductive parts are connected to the grounding protection wires so that the easily accessible conductive parts will not be electrified when the basic insulation fails.
Type I lamps have a ground symbol next to the grounding terminal. It should be noted that the metal shell of Type I lamps should be effectively grounded. If the lamp replacement can touch the ballast, the ballast should also be effectively grounded.
The protection against electric shock of Type II lamps not only depends on the basic insulation, but also has additional safety measures, such as double insulation or reinforced insulation. In case of basic insulation failure, it can also rely on supplementary insulation protection. Lamps in plastic enclosures are generally Type 0 or Type II. It is best to purchase Type II lamps. Type II lamps have symbols.
The protection against electric shock of Class III lamps depends on the power supply being a safety extra-low voltage, and no voltage exceeding the safety extra-low voltage is generated inside the lamp.
4 using the light instructions:
1 After buying the lamps and lanterns, do not install them first. You should look carefully at the markings on the lamps and read the installation instructions. Install the lamps in accordance with the instructions in the manual. Use the lamps according to the rules in the manual.
2 According to the light source parameters provided by the sign to replace the aging lamp in time, it is found that both ends of the lamp are red, and the lamp should be replaced in time to prevent the ballast from being burned and other unsafe phenomena.
3 During cleaning and maintenance, care should be taken not to change the structure of the lamp or to replace the parts of the lamp. After the cleaning and maintenance is over, the lamp should be installed as it is. Do not miss or replace the parts of the lamp.
