Correct application of urea to improve utilization

Urea is no stranger to us. It is one of the most common and commonly used nitrogen fertilizers in agricultural production. Because of its high nitrogen content and low volatilization, it is very popular among farmers. However, production is often used improperly and the utilization rate is low. Combined with the fertilizer efficiency characteristics of urea, the following application methods are proposed:
1. Ditch application or acupoint application: Ditch or open hole application, the ditch (hole) is 7-10 cm deep, and the soil is covered immediately after application, so that urea is closely combined with the soil and is not exposed to the surface. Thoroughly change the practice of surface application and improve utilization. Some farmers in the production also apply ditch when applying urea, but the ditch is shallow, the covering soil is not fine, and some even spread it evenly, so that the urea is exposed to the surface. It is considered that the physical properties of urea are relatively stable and are not easily lost, but I don’t know Under the action of soil microorganisms, it will also be lost to ammonium carbonate. It’s only a little later.
2. Do not water immediately after application: when the application is carried out, the summer interval is 2~3 days, and the water is watered after 6~8 days in spring and autumn, so as to avoid the loss of urea fertilizer efficiency and improve the utilization rate. The conventional practice in production is to combine fertilization with water, and immediately after the application of urea, it is thought that this can make the urea melt as soon as possible, and the fertilizer effect is fast, but it is not. This is because urea is present in the soil solution in the molecular state after being applied to the soil, and is not easily adsorbed by the soil colloid before being converted into ammonium carbonate, and is easily lost with water. Therefore, immediately after the urea is applied, the urea will be attached to the deep layer of soil below 20 cm with water, which is not easily absorbed by the roots of the crop, resulting in waste.
