Analysis of Dust and Metal Elements Contents in the Pneumoconiotics Detected by Metal Miners and Coal Miners

Engaged in dust and pneumoconiosis prevention research.

Pneumoconiosis is an occupational disease that endangers the health of workers. To study the content of dust, free silica and metallic elements in the lungs of pneumoconiosis patients in order to understand the occurrence and development of pneumoconiosis, and to have a certain value for prevention and control of pneumoconiosis. For this reason, the autopsy lung samples of 36 miners (17 metal miners and 19 coal miners) were measured and analyzed.

1 Materials and methods 1.1 The source of lung specimens Metal miners and coal cadaveric lungs were all derived from the pathological anatomy specimens of our pneumoconiosis. Metal miners are mining and transportation workers of non-ferrous metals such as manganese, lead, zinc, antimony and gold, with an average working age of 148 years from 5 to 26 years. Coal workers are coal mining workers and have an average service life of 153 years from 4 to 28 years.

1.2 pneumoconiosis pathological stage - 88 pneumoconiosis pathological diagnostic criteria.

1.3 Determination of residual dust, free silica and elements in cadaveric lungs. Each lung sample was whole lung. According to the principle of random sampling, a total of 130g was sampled in the upper, middle and lower lung lesion areas and non-lesion areas. (30g for dust content and free silica measurement, 100g for elemental determination) Extraction of residual dust in both lungs. Using GuerP's method, the lung tissue was dried and ground, and 1g of dried tissue was taken in a 50ml glass tube. In the process, add 11.3mol/L hydrochloric acid (30nl) to a 60C water bath, heat, stir, and digest for 3 hours. Remove and repeat several times of centrifugation, washing, and finally dry the total dust weight. The 577 type infrared spectrophotometer was used to scan and analyze the free silica content.

The determination of lung elements, 100g lung tissue was chopped and dried, and 1g of dried lung tissue was digested and measured with a P-E3030 atomic absorption spectrophotometer.

2 Results 21 pathological staging and autopsy lung dust retention 36 cases of miners autopsy lung pathological staging and lung retention dust volume (calculated as whole lung 350g dry weight, basically consistent with the results of this article.

The content of free silica in the lungs was consistent with that of pneumoconiosis, which was the same as reported at home and abroad. The content of free silica in the lung in the m phase was similar to Abe and Ishikawa. AnnOccupHgy197619: 37. [2] Xiong Xinbao, et al.
